Shemise Evans Round Two

Shemise was working with Anne Northrop on the Independence charter school project. She was working in the same room as the other interns painting a part of the background. she continued to paint while we spoke, easily mixing the paints.

How has the experience been so far? It's been great, working on all the different sites has given me alot of chances to learn from alot of different artists.

What was the most interesting thing to happen on site? One of the guys was doing some work when some kids stole the keys to his lift. We caught them before they got far, but he would have been stuck about three stories up if we hadn't.

What is your favorite form on trasportation? Car of course.

How have you seen art change the community? The kids from the camps here come in every once and a while and they're inspired. They like the idea of this mural going up by their playground.

Favorite Philly landmark? Love Park

Best Place to eat? I don't eat out, my mother cooks everything wel.

What is your favorite part of the mural? THe sky at that will be at the top of the wall is really nice.
